At the same time, Liqwyd is building a nationwide staffing platform designed to connect qualified service industry professionals with events and venues on demand — much like how Wag connects dog walkers with pet owners and Uber connects drivers with riders. Our goal is to modernize event staffing through speed, flexibility, and reliable human connection.
Liqwyd was founded in 2024 by Joshua Jarvis Kalloo, whose journey in the hospitality industry began over a decade earlier as a busboy. His diverse experiences, including roles as a host, fry cook, server, and eventually bartender, equipped him with a deep understanding of a full-service establishment's operations. Behind the bar, Joshua discovered his true passion, blossoming into a highly skilled and sought-after bartender and mixologist. His unwavering dedication to quality, creativity, and exceptional customer service has been the cornerstone of his success.
